Terms of Service

By using CheckGen ("the service", "we", "us"), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Use of the Service

CheckGen provides an AI-powered QA checklist generation tool. You may use the service for personal and commercial QA testing purposes. You agree not to:

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the service
  • Use the service to generate harmful, illegal, or deceptive content
  • Abuse the free generation tier through automated scripts or bots
  • Share account credentials with others

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

Free accounts may create a team workspace and invite other users by email. By sending an invite, you confirm you have a legitimate reason to contact the recipient and that they would reasonably expect to receive an invitation from you.

3. Your Content

Ticket descriptions and acceptance criteria you submit are sent to the Anthropic API for processing. We do not store this input text beyond your active session unless you explicitly save a session to your account. You retain ownership of any content you submit.

4. Availability

We aim to keep CheckGen available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors outside our control. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.

5. Free Tier Limits

Anonymous use is limited to 3 AI generations. Free accounts are limited to 25 saved checklists in history. These limits exist to ensure fair use and may change over time.

6. Disclaimer

CheckGen is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated checklists are suggestions and should be reviewed by qualified QA professionals before use in production testing.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CheckGen and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
